New Ink & Dot Dot Dash : November 9, 2006
It'd been awhile since I'd gotten to hang out with my buddy Pezboy - And it'd been a spell since either of us had gotten some ink. So, when he came in from Boston for MAD's Lost Marbles Show, it was obvious what needed to be done...
Spend the afternoon at a tattoo parlor.

Jared gets drilled - a bad ass anchor skull motif... He picked winner (pic of ink to come)
My turn...
So, A lot of my tattoos are symbols of luck: Crossed fingers, 4-leaf clover, wishbone, rabbit's foot, horseshoe, etc... And they have served me well over the years. So I decided a few more lucky icons would fit the bill and close up some of the gaps between some of the larger pieces on my arm. Designs where drawn up on the spot, stencils applied and then the unthinkable...
As I sat down to enjoy the sweet song that is a tattoo gun's hum, I knocked a hand mirror off of the wall behind me.

A dead quiet fell over the back half of the busy shop...
"Did you break it?" - Keith asked with a somber tone (but a smirk on his face).
I picked up the mirror - "yep... I broke it"
"Out of all the fucking people" - he says. - laughter fills the shop.
So we continued...

and we finish...

Cuz I bought a house

A lady bug crawling on you is good luck.

So is a spider. I also got a Lucky penny inked on my wrist, but no pic of that one.
Keith hooked me up with this one for free...

Hopefully, it'll keep my luck intact.
All in all a good day. Great to hang with Pezboy again. If you happen to see him on the street ask him about lawnchairs on the highway. Big Ups to artist and shop owner Keith Underwood at Taylor Street Tattoo for moving his appointments around so he drill on us all day. 1# brother... 1#.

Re: New Ink & Dot Dot Dash
Nice tats Brian. I'm thinking about getting the phrase "Stay true through it all" from your custom CP on the inside of my forearm.
Got a couple of questions for you as well:
Do you do comissions for tattoos?
And how much would it cost?
