I think part of the reason I've stayed away from color for so long is the terrible mess it makes. Paints everywhere, brushes, a million markers pencils and such. it's just a big pain in the ass. Perhaps I'm lazy, i dunno.

But after working on a gig poster for Baroness last week - I really got in the color groove. the planets just sorta aligned, and i was for once happy with how my drawing looked with color under it. So I figured I play around today with a drawing I did up last night for the Saigon Market Collective zine (issue #3 coming in April). I dig the results, but yeah - still a long way to go before I'm totally comfortable with using color. Obviously the coloring was done in photoshop... lame i know. But there is no way I was going to deal with the mess of doing things by hand today.
