Living Life : September 4, 2008
SO yeah - summer means I spend zero time behind the computer outside of the day gig... too many good vibes with the warm weather.

The caddy is finally up and running 100%... fresh with airbags, new brakes, fresh radiator and a rebuilt carb. Endless cruising all summer.

Flew out to San Francisco to catch the Flash Forward conference - David Carson was in full effect.

And in what has become a yearly tradition, Spit-Roasted a 45 pound lamb...

and invited a few friends to help savor the feast.

more cadillac cruising.

And every now and again picking up the Sharpies for a drawing. Here's the main illo for a new Formula Werks shirt, sans the lettering - problem is, their printer won't print it as the lettering spells out something to obscene for them to print... but we'll get it made one way or another.

WORK.

DRINK.

And shit... my home studio flooded... Thousand of dollars in damaged prints, shirts, toys...

and original art for a big two person show in may (with Mitch O'Connell)

Road Trip to St. Louis...

via the Mother Road. Even stopped by the Illinois State Fair for a day. Nothing says summer like Route 66, funnel cakes, Lemon Shakeups and corn on a stick.

And no St. Louis - CHicago trip is complete with out stopping in beautiful downtown Dwight. I love Dwight - reminds me of how my small hometown used to be. simple, quiet and full of local landmarks.
As summer winds down, I'll be around more - making more art, spewing more prints, shirts and stickers. Just dropped a gigposter for "Intronaut", "Mouth of the Architect" and "Behold...The Arctopus". They are all signed and numbered - just gotta get them up on my store. Looking to 2010, there will be at least one Brian Morris snowboard gracing the slopes, working on deals with a couple more board companies... hopefully more to come on that.
Plenty more going on that I can't wait to tell ya'll about.
See you soon.
